Dr. Anis Kazi is an accomplished global health leader with extensive experience spanning the country, regional, and headquarters levels of the World Health Organization, as well as significant roles within government and the development sector. He has provided strategic and technical leadership across a range of complex health systems environments, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to advance health security, primary health care, and universal health coverage agendas.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kazi has worked at the interface of policy and practice, supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of transformative health system reforms. His roles have included senior technical and advisory positions, where he has engaged with Member States, multilateral partners, and civil society to strengthen health systems resilience, promote equity, and drive progress toward global health goals. Dr. Kazi's experience is distinguished by his ability to navigate the complexities of multilevel governance, facilitate multisectoral collaboration, and translate evidence into impactful policy and operational solutions across a variety of settings.
